Welcome to the Intercollegiate Committee for Basic Surgical Examinations (ICBSE) website. ICBSE oversees the development and quality assurance of the MRCS examinations in collaboration with the four surgical royal colleges in the UK and Ireland, who run the examinations in conjunction with the standards set by ICBSE.
