Extended Matching Questions – MRCS Part A Exam

Candidates should note that as of September 2018, the MRCS Part A examination will no longer use extended matching questions (EMQs) within the Principles of Surgery in General section of the exam. The September 2018 exam will be the first exam that will be made up solely of single best answer questions (SBAs) and candidates planning to sit the exam from September 2018 onwards should prepare accordingly.
